Christia provides advice to foreign and domestic clients relating to commercial contracts, property and conveyancing, wills and probate, and immigration. She is also actively involved in all aspects of Permanent Residency and Citizenship Programs of the Republic of Cyprus. Prior to co-founding Antoniou & Metaxa LLC, Christia gained invaluable experience as an associate lawyer of another reputable law firm in Paphos. She has successfully represented numerous clients on the purchase as well as the sale of property and has indeed acquired a particular know-how in the drafting of contracts. In addition, she has been deeply involved in matters relating to probate and the administration of estates and has regularly assisted clients in drafting their wills. Moreover, Christia has handled a significant number of cases relating to immigration, corporate and commercial law. This experience has undoubtedly enabled her to transfer the knowledge that she gained from her postgraduate specialization into her practice.
As a postgraduate, Christia studied for the Master of Laws in International Commercial Law at the University of Leicester, where she obtained a ‘Distinction’ in various subjects, including International Business Law. She has also earned a Bachelor of Laws from the same university, with a ‘First’ in Company Law.
It is also important to mention that Christia has been admitted to the Cyprus Bar after achieving one of the highest scores in the Cyprus Bar Association professional exams, graduating in the top 3% of her class.
